A huge shock if you ask me. Makers of some excellent movies like Chupke-Chupke, Golmaal, Anand, Bawarchi, Guddi, Anupama, Khubsoorat, Namak Haram, Anari. Undisputedly best comedy film maker of India. I don't remember tears rolling down my cheeks when some film personality died. Salute to you Hrishi-da.

i came to know about it too and was sad :(
It's sad news. I am also his big time fan. And recently here in Brisbane I got the chance to meet amol palekar as director of movie "Quest" and there was a discussion going on him being actor and director and then it drifted to the comparison of the movies he did like golmaal and whole lot. In a way comparison of his direction and hrishi da's. And I felt hrishi da is incomparable.
